Photograph barcodes on everyday retail products at home. Each accepted barcode image earns a reward, and there is no cap on how many you submit.

About this study

We are building a reference set of real-world product barcodes photographed in ordinary conditions — the packaging as it actually looks on a kitchen shelf, not a studio shot. Submissions come in through a short mobile form, and each image is checked automatically for legibility and duplication before it is accepted.

What we need from you

A clear photo of the barcode with the full code visible edge to edge
The product name and brand as printed on the packaging
Category of the product (food, household, personal care, other)
Images taken by you, of products you actually own

How it works

01Apply through the form and get your submission link within 24–48 hours
02Photograph barcodes on products around your home
03Upload each image with the product name and category
04Accepted assets are paid out per the project payment cycle

Eligibility criteria

Aged 18 or above
A smartphone with a working camera
Products with printed EAN, UPC or similar retail barcodes
Open to participants in any country
